Jimmy Donaldson · YouTube Legend
Jimmy Donaldson, known to the world as MrBeast, grew up in Greenville, NC — and Omars was part of his story long before the fame. Omar knew Jimmy as a kid, watched him grow up, and saw something special in him early on. When COVID hit in 2020 and shut down businesses across the country, Omars was struggling like everyone else. Jimmy didn't forget where he came from. He reached out to Omar personally and gave him money to help keep Omars afloat during the pandemic — a real act of loyalty from someone who didn't have to do anything. That's the kind of man MrBeast is. Not just the world's biggest YouTuber — but a Greenville kid who takes care of his own.

Omar knew Jimmy Donaldson before the world did. MrBeast grew up in Greenville and Omars was one of his spots from day one. When COVID hit in 2020 and shut everything down, Omar was struggling to keep the doors open like so many small businesses. Jimmy personally reached out and gave Omar money to help Omars survive the pandemic. No cameras, no content, no clout — just a Greenville kid taking care of someone who was part of his story. That kind of loyalty doesn't come from fame. It comes from character.
